The Rooms

Our newly renovated Writing, Reading, and Drawing Rooms are located on the 1st floor. With high ceilings and triple paned windows letting in beautiful light, they are sure to inspire the next Lord Byron. These rooms will be available starting April 2024 and cannot yet be booked online. If you are interested, you can contact us to reserve directly.

Our spacious Cathedral, Piano, and Garden rooms are located on the 2nd floor and have unobstructed land mark views, come fully equipped with Culshaw kitchenettes in case you feel peckish and want to rustle up an afternoon snack.

The Attic room is a smaller twin room that is perfect for older kids or young at heart adults (please note it has lower ceilings and is located up a staircase on the 3rd floor).

If you are looking for accommodation that is suitable for a family (i.e. you require a master bedroom and two single beds), we recommend Cathedral & Attic. The Writing Room & The Reading Room can also be connected into Lord Byron’s Suite and share a lounge area and a small balcony overlooking orange trees in the neighbouring garden. For friends or couples travelling together, the Piano & Garden rooms are a great option. If you prefer to get the whole gang together but want your own private space plus two common lounge areas to congregate in, the entire property is available and sleeps 14.

External shutters, double glazing and internal shutters also help to keep the city sounds to a minimum, but do remember Dubrovnik is a small, vibrant city so embracing the hustle and bustle is part of the fun.

The Piano Room

This 24sqm room with a view of the cathedral is where the previous owners kept their piano (which we inherited, should any budding Liberace's come to stay). You can book the Piano room along with the Garden Room and have the lounge for your sole use.

The Cathedral Room

This is our largest room at 25sqm and perhaps unsurprisingly overlooks the grand cathedral. Its triple aspect, which provides lots of afternoon sunlight but still remains exceptionally private. This room can be booked along with the Loft Room as a family suite.

The Attic Room

On the 3rd floor, this is our smallest room at just 18sqm and has two single beds, looking out over the Dubrovnik roof tops. Don't panic though, you still get all of the Byron comforts, Molton Brown toiletries, a mini fridge, plus tea & coffee making facilities. This is a great room for older kids or young at heart adults (lower ceilings and more stairs).

The Garden Room

22sqm with a fab en-suite, this room overlooks the neighbours garden, a rare glimpse of green in the walled city. Situated on the southern side of the building that gets the morning sun, but is quieter and cooler in the summer months.  This room can be booked in conjunction with the Piano room and adjoining lounge.

- The little extra's -

We know that sometimes its the little things that help make a holiday special, so if you need to borrow an ironing board, print flight tickets home, have forgotten your phone charger (or tooth brush...we have obviously listed these in order of importance), then please ask and we will be only too happy to assist.

We also have beach towels for you to use, should you want to take a refreshing dip in the sea at the Buza beach, or perhaps need one for a boat trip. We can also advise on the daily schedule for the cruise liners that dock in Dubrovnik in the high season, this should help you in planning your day to avoid the crowds.

We are also happy to offer a concierge service to help you get the most out of your stay in Dubrovnik. So whether you need restaurants booked, a tour of the old city, a private boat trip or perhaps a day wine tasting, we can arrange it all for you.
